Hi, I’m Sarah. I got the title of this blog, “Write it on a Rock” from a few verses where it talks about using rocks to remember who God is and His faithfulness. I often forget when I’m in hard times what God has done, and so my purpose in writing is to remember where I’ve come from and how God has been faithful.
I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love kids, and especially our four little ones. I love to learn and teach others what I learn. I enjoy walking, dating my husband, cooking (but not cleaning up as I go), exercising, and reading. Since I don’t get out of the house to do as much ministry as I would like, I hope that this blog will speak to those who visit and encourage people’s hearts.
I went to school for Biblical and Theological Studies and Marriage and Family therapy but right now I stay at home with our four children who are 8, 5 , 3 and 1. I am a pastor’s wife to a wonderful husband… my high school sweet heart, Jason. We have been married for 11 years and we live in the Midwest.
I told my friend Missy two years ago that I would never start a blog because I am too shy to share my thoughts with “the world.” But.. here I am.
I hope to encourage others through writing what God’s doing in my life, Bible teaching devotionals, and probably lots of parenting and marriage stories since that’s my life right now.
Sarah,
Thanks for sharing your heart on your blog. I know of you from EBC, & BSf too.
I started the good deed = marble in, & not so good deed =marble out of the jar with my kids today. So far my kids have been complimenting each other like crazy, the oldest made his bed,& I have a clean countertop and a mopped floor. What a great idea, thank you! I just hope the “marbles in” behavior continues 🙂
Thank you Jill for taking the time to comment! I forget some times, but I am still doing the marbles too. Introduce yourself next time we run into each other :).
